YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy, simply.

When you submit a project enquiry, Mike’s Web Solutions collects the name, email, business name, package preference, and project details you provide. These are stored to respond to your enquiry, manage your project, prepare invoices, and prepare agreements for your review and signature.

Payments and emails

Once billing is connected, your name, email, and invoice details are shared with Stripe to generate invoices and process payments. Card details are entered directly on Stripe’s hosted pages and are never stored on this website. New invoice emails and reminders link to a private page. You sign in to your client account with an email code before viewing private requests. An account is required before continuing to Stripe. Signed-in clients can pay without another code.

Agreements and private links

Agreement templates use your project details. If you sign electronically, the website stores the exact agreement, your typed name, consent, verified email, signature and verification timestamps, and a document fingerprint. Private links expire after 30 days, email verification codes after 10 minutes, and scoped verification sessions after 30 minutes. Client accounts stay signed in for up to 30 days on the current browser using a necessary HttpOnly cookie. Agreement signing requires fresh email verification within 10 minutes. Verification codes and transactional messages are recorded in the owner’s email log. Signing an agreement does not charge a card or start a subscription.

Access and retention

Administrative records are restricted to Michael. Clients can access only projects connected to their verified account. Project conversations, uploaded files, questionnaire responses, agreements, invoices, and read receipts are stored to provide the client workspace. Each project has a separate conversation and records. Records are retained for project administration and applicable accounting requirements. Avoid including passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in the enquiry form.

Project conversations and notifications

Michael may receive conversation messages and reply through a connected private Slack channel. Customer conversations use one thread with project labels; Slack access is limited to the configured workspace and owner. Private file downloads remain on this website and require sign-in. Website read receipts indicate when incoming messages are visible in the focused conversation. A direct reply from Michael in Slack also acknowledges earlier client messages for that project.

If Michael’s message remains unread for a day, the website may email its contents with a link to your conversation on the next hourly delivery run. You can turn these message reminders off in account settings. Required project and payment messages remain available in your workspace.

Your choices

To request access to or correction of your information, or ask about deletion, contact Michael through the project form and mark your message as a privacy request. A short-lived security identifier may be used to limit form spam. This site does not use advertising trackers.
